I am not a Bf 109 specialist but this number (600029(?)7) is just the WNr. of a particular part (identified as its Sach Nummer, which seems to be a flap or the wingtip). It is not the main dataplate.
However picture 106 (nice job of 'defolding') may show letter 'W', perhaps the part of a Stammkennzeichen number (WW+WW, the factory code) ? But matching Stkz to WNr. is another problem...
Any member of the RAF team to bring precision here?

I'll try to translate even if Nicolas should have learned Italian very well, by now.
I refer to the possible W that may be part of a Stkz.
Unfortunately, the list I have hasn't Stkz codes for the production lot in which WkNr 161715 is but however we know the Stkz of the following aircraft, that's WkNr 161716.
This aircraft belonged, probably, to the II. / 77Jg, and was found by British, damaged and abandoned, on the landing ground of Canino (Flugplatz 4) at the end of 1944.
The Stammkennzeichen was only partially legible as NP +? Y. (Prien, JG 77, IV, p.2466)
The II. / JG77 was the only Jagdgruppe that stationed at Canino from February 23 to April 9, 1944.
If the assumption of Nicolas would be valid then we should have an NP + WY.
So it's quite possible that our plane was originally NP +? X.
It doesn't help too much but something is better than nothing.
However, I cannot read that W on the plate, it seems to me something like (?) 60 K (or R) A
