Thanks to Mr. Antonio Cantele, of Lusiana's Museum, we have more informations about THE CRASHES in Lusiana area: The first was an Austrian biplane, crashed in january 1918. The two airmen, Hans Ralli and Sobrcius, was buried in Lusiana cemetery and exhumed just after the war. The second plane, that look to be OUR Baltimore, went down in april 1945 not far from the village, in a steep and wooded slope, and disintegrated completely on impact. As in many other cases, many parts was recovered by the local. A THIRD PLANE, the rumors say Italian, went down some km southwest, the pilot bail out unhurted...
